Rates and deposits
Configure headline rates and optional deposit rules.
Rates are the amounts golfers see for each lesson length. Golfa focuses on clear per-lesson pricing rather than hidden fees at booking time.
Set standard rates
- Go to Coaching → Individual.
- Tap Prices under the Prices section.
- Enter your fee for each duration you sell (for example £50 for 30 minutes, £90 for 60 minutes).
- Save. Repeat whenever your club changes its tariff — existing confirmed bookings keep the price they booked at unless you agree otherwise with the golfer.
Junior rates (optional)
- On Coaching → Individual, tap Junior prices.
- Enter junior amounts for the durations you offer juniors.
- Save. Use a separate lesson type or clear descriptions if adults and juniors book different products.
Packages (optional)
- Tap Packages on the same page.
- Enter prices for your multi-hour packages (for example 3, 6, or 10 hours).
- Save. Describe in the lesson text what is included (range balls, course fees, etc.).
Deposits and pay at venue
- Pay online — The golfer pays the lesson amount (plus any booking fee shown) by card when they book.
- Pay at venue (Pro) — For direct and return bookings you can charge only a small booking fee online and collect the lesson price at the club. Configure this under Settings → Payment options.
Tips
- If you need separate products (senior, beginner clinic, etc.), add them as different lesson types under Lessons rather than one confusing price list.
- State cancellation and refund rules in your lesson descriptions so golfers know them before they pay.
